Benefit Golf Tournament

Thanks to generous sponsorships and participation, the SKIHI Enterprises Annual Benefit Golf Tournament has generated more than $500,000 in donations.  Noted beneficiaries have been Cook Children’s Medical Center, ROPARD and The Child Study Center.  Each year a few thousand dollars will also be reserved to donate to other deserving children’s charities.

The inspiration behind this cause is Kelsi Skipper, the granddaughter of Richard and Jackie Skipper.  Kelsi was born prematurely and diagnosed with ROP (detached retinas).  Without the dedication from Cook Children’s, ROPARD, and The Child Study Center, Kelsi would not be the bright and energetic young lady that she is today.  For more than a decade this tournament has been an effort to support these hospitals and organizations in their various programs to benefit children like Kelsi.
